This policy explains what information YieldTrac, Inc. (“YieldTrac”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use yieldtrac.com and the YieldTrac platform at app.yieldtrac.com (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you or your company creates an account we collect names, work email addresses, phone numbers, company details and billing information.
Business documents. The core of the Service is processing the business documentation you provide — vendor invoices, receipts, delivery slips and ledgers — along with the inventory, catalog and pricing data derived from them.
Usage information. We collect standard technical information when you use the Service, such as device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and actions taken, to operate, secure and improve the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: reading your invoices with optical character recognition (OCR) and AI, structuring the data, posting it to your inventory and generating alerts and reports.
- To bill for and support your subscription.
- To secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including alerts you configure and important account notices.
We do not sell your financial or business data to third-party brokers, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
AI processing and zero-training guarantee
YieldTrac uses enterprise-grade artificial intelligence APIs to process unstructured documents. Your uploaded documents and financial data are never used to train public or foundational AI models. Data processed through our AI partners is used strictly for immediate processing on your behalf and is not ingested into their training datasets.
How we share information
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service — such as cloud hosting, AI processing, payments and scheduling providers — under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
Security and infrastructure
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is hosted on SOC 2-compliant infrastructure providers (AWS and Supabase). Access to customer data inside YieldTrac is limited to personnel who need it to operate or support the Service.
Data retention
We retain your account data and processed documents for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal, accounting and audit obligations. When you close your account you may request deletion or export of your data.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. To exercise them, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Cookies
The marketing site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function (for example, remembering that you have already seen the loading animation). The platform uses cookies to keep you signed in.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account owners by email.
